It's another Beautiful Sunny day here in Dallas!:) We made it to 99 degrees yesterday...yikes! Not quite ready for that!Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was wonderful! The Journey of Sisters headed to the Union Gospel Mission homeless shelter Friday night. Every third Friday we hold their chapel service. The response from these women is Amazing! I get such a blessing everytime! Saturday we held a service for the Widows luncheon at First Babtist Dallas. We had around 150 women. They all seemed to really enjoy it.:) For those of you who don't know...myself along with two other friends, founded a non profit ministry called, Faith, Hope & Grace...A Journey of Sisters. We minister to women in need. From women in homeless shelters to people like you and me! We now have a team of 13 women ( as well as one brother in the journey);-) He's our sound man, musician and body guard!
Sunday was a great day. I went to the Fusion service on Sunday night. They had barbecue for "Free 99" as Ed would say for us all out by the lake. Afterward a group of about 15 headed to the movies.:)I'm having a Great week thus far!:) Getting ready for our long 3 day weekend! Yipee!Have a Super Blessed one!

Oh Brenda, your life sounds so fun! No diapers, no crumbs on your floor, no piles of laundry! I am just imagining sunny Dallas!
If you haven't seen Baby Mama, it may be worth seeing---you might like it. Me and 3 of my sisters saw it when I was in VA a couple weeks ago and we laughed so hard! I want to see it again with Danny.

Hi Kristi! So fun to have another Dallas-ite! I just went to the movies with Mr. Page and group Sun. nt.! Blackmail pictures...sweet! I had always heard about Denise and Danny through Troy. Then when sweet Dolly dated Troy she would come in town and stay with me. Then...I started dating Denise and Danny's pastor..and visited Florida...wah lah! Alas, to meet Denise! Small world isn't it?!
Thanks Brenda for the update. It is a small world and it gets smaller all the time. I had heard about you before when I would tease Troy about where Dolly was staying on her visits. He would always tell me about his good friend, Brenda. Be sure and tell Troy that Kristi Smalley said "hi" via your blog. He will flip out. He will probably get nervous at what I may tell you. LOL! OK, not to be nosey but are you still dating Denise's pastor????
Brenda, you are just beautiful! All you Fellowship girls are so pretty. What in the world is wrong with Troy that he hasn't snagged a wife at age 40???? The million dollar question.
